1.
In the first
row, write down the date for which you
want to create the Magic square.
Remember
to split the year into two. I have taken the date as 13.11.2011.
2. Write any three consecutive numbers in the boxes as shown below.
4. Now, calculate the element in row2, column 3 by subtracting the other 3
elements of that sub-square by magic constant.
55 – (20+11+6) = 18.
5. Now, find the blank box of column 3 by subtracting the sum of other
elements from magic constant. 55-(20+18+4) = 13.
6. Follow the same way to complete the row 2, column 2 element from central
sub-square. 55-(18+13+5) =19
7. 2nd row 1st column will be 55 – (19 + 18 + 6) =12
4th
row 2nd column will be 55 – (11 + 19 + 5) = 20
4th row 4th column will be 55 – (13 + 19 + 13) =
10
9.
3rd
row 1st column = 55 – (13 + 12 + 21) =9
3rd row 4th column = 55 – (11 + 6 + 10) = 28
Observe that when you add the numbers given in each row, each column or even diagonally, you get the same sum.
